Trusting Someone to Write for You is a Big
Deal
Using an outsider to write marketing materials for
your business makes most people
uneasy. You should know as much as you
can about what to expect from someone providing such a personal
service. Below you'll find out what results to
expect when working with me, the beliefs and values that form
the basis for my working relationships, how I approach
copywriting projects, and what makes me different than other
freelance copywriters.
When you hire Write Advantage Inc., your web site
projects are completed in a timely
manner. All my projects have been
completed on or before my deadlines. I know that my work is
just a piece of what is going in your business and that you've
likely planned other tasks around my due date. I respect that,
and if it looks like a due date will be a problem, I'll let you
know as soon as possible.
Your target audience will clearly understand your
message. I'll gather information from
your company and outside sources to be sure I have an
accurate understanding of your audience. The web site copy you
receive will be written in a style appropriate for your company
using terms and language familiar to your
market.
To
the extent possible, copy will be delivered ready for you to
use. The writing will be accurate,
professional, and free of typographical and editorial errors.
If there are questions regarding the project,
I'll call attention to them in the transmittal of the
web site copy. I'll deliver a text file and a Word file so that
your webmaster knows how the copy is intended to look on the
page.
Guiding Beliefs and Values
My
success is measured by your success. If
I deliver a project to you that doesn't meet your needs, then I
haven't done my job. My goal is to establish long term
relationships with my clients. With few exceptions, I've
received repeat business from clients within six months of
completing the first project.
I'll only take on your project
- If I can meet your
schedule
- If I can meet your budget
- If my expertise is a match for your
needs
How I'm Different
Most writers say they can write
anything. While that may be true, I
believe that not all writers can write everything well.
So, I really consider my abilities and limitations when
deciding whether or not I'll take on your project. I may
end up telling you that you should look for another freelance
copywriter.
Unlike many writers, I'm logical and
analytical. I have an engineering degree
and consulted in the nuclear and environmental industries
prior to writing full time. This gives me a different
perspective than writers coming from a fine arts
background. I see things from a big picture
point-of-view. This makes me see connections and possibilities
that other writers may overlook.
